EP026: After Hours Episode – Spouses and your Service
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
This week on the Leaders Huddle Podcast we change the format to bring you another after hours episode featuring military spouses from the local area. The idea for this episode came from our own spouses wanting the opportunity to share their side of the task. As we know, the military is more than just a job. It’s a community that fully integrates family and our way life. Being a spouse in the military is an often understated but irreplaceable job. Today we listen as three military spouses with a collective knowledge of over 20 years, 15 permanent change of station moves, 5 deployments, and 3 company commands. Their advice on deployment, moving, family readiness, and integrating into new environments can help prepare young families for the rewarding, but difficult life in the military.Visit Leaders Huddle on the Junior Officer site at https://juniorofficer.army.mil/leaders-huddle
