In today’s hyperconnected world, solitude for a leader can be a luxury unless you prioritize it. In this week’s episode, we explore the concept of solitude by interviewing Army Reserve Major, Mike Erwin, co-author of the new book “Lead Yourself First.”
In this discussion, Mike dives into the inspiration for researching and writing the book and provides some practical tips for how leaders can find moments of solitude throughout their day.
Mike’s Bio:
Michael S. Erwin is a graduate of West Point and served two tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq. He now serves as the CEO of the Character & Leadership Center and the President of The Positivity Project. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Team Red, White, & Blue, a veteran-support non-profit with more than 100,000 members nationwide. Mike continues to serve as a Major in the Army Reserves and is an Assistant Professor in Leadership and Psychology at West Point. He lives with his family in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
