If I could go back and do it all over again the only thing I would do differently is to make the time to study for and take the GRE. The Career Course is a great place to focus on self-development due to the relaxed nature of the course in comparison to the rest of the Army. A lot of broadening opportunities post-command require the GRE as part of the application process and taking it at Career Course is much easier than trying to do it during Command.
