@DallasKing – it sounds like you have been diligent in communicating your requirements to higher and creating partnerships with key stakeholders (BDE S4).  Awesome!

Reading the article and reading from your comments, it is clear that you are on the initial stages of “trying/ proving a new concept.”  At the end of the day you have to do the best with your time and resource constraints.

Is there a reason you can’t/ won’t be augmented by additional attachments? Also, is there an opportunity pre-deployment that you can demonstrate to your leadership the limitations/ impacts without assets?

Also, you definitely have some principles to go off of for your SOP:

1. Perform recon and arrive 30 days in advance.

2.  Conduct 100% inventories.

3. Schedule training in advance to “cross-train” personnel in the SSA.
