I am afraid I disagree. I do not think the Army, Branch or your unit will overly care about your BOLC eval.

At least as far as I have seen across the Army, as long as you were not a recycle, no one else in the Army is going to care about your eval. Your passing means you should know how to be whatever MOS you are and to ready to serve as an LT on the line. BOLC is where you actually learn how to do serve in your profession.

In my opinion how you act and do as a leader in your first months will come from your tactical and technical knowledge and doctrinal grounding that you develop at BOLC. The ability to talk in an educated manner about a task you are given as a JO (whether it be anything from conducting an ambush, planning fires, or running a Distro plt) is what people are going to look at. I would think the actions by a person are going to matter a lot more than your ranking on a piece of paper. If you are all messed up, your leadership are going to wonder what the hell you were doing at the school house. Then they may actually go looking for that eval.
