A Headquarters Company Command can be a great opportunity.  Your ability to weigh in and support the commander and staff can go a long way in cementing your leadership abilities.  Also, it will give you the chance to develop your ability to influence others even if they may be inclined to “ignore” you because they work for the “XO” or some other excuse.  I look forward to hearing about your experience.
