Hi I’m George Runkle (YG 10, AR). I’m actually pre-command, as I chose to do my post-command broadening opportunity BEFORE Company Command due to the long wait for Company Command. I’m currently a planner at 3rd Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division and have formerly served as the US Army Central Command Battle Captain for 18 months, a BN AS-3, Support Platoon Leader, and an MGS Platoon Leader.

Current plan is to command a tank company and then switch over to FA 59 and serve as a strategist.

I’ve been active, intermittently, in the forums since 2008. From about 2009-2011, I served as the Armor Rally Point Lead on the Platoon Leader forum.
