Hello, my name is Brian McGarry and I’m still a lurker for the time being.  I’ve been hanging around the forums most recently on Milsuite and stealing tools that Brock has posted.  I started to listen to the podcast a few months ago and I’ve been more interested in participating in forums like this recently.

I’m a TPU reservist of 15 years and currently a 1LT TC officer serving as a PL.  I’m also about 2 weeks away from taking command of the 424th TC CO in Virginia.  My side job, the one that pays my bills and supports my family, is at the Army Logistics University (ALU) where I teach officers the wonders of GCSS-A and other log systems.

I joined 2 months after 9/11 as a high school student in NH.  Of course this means I deployed to Iraq in 2004 and also in 2007/2008 where I was an 88N and served many jobs at varying levels of transportation management.  I moved to VA in 2009 to work at the Transportation school and then the ALU.

Perhaps I can find time to stop lurking and start contributing.
