Carla,

1.  Likes and PIE are not yet available on discussions and/or replies.  They currently only work on “tools” such as documents, interviews, SOPs, etc.  This is a feature that we are working on.

2.  We are not sure why items are showing up multiple times on their activity feed…thanks for finding that bug and we’ll look into it.

3.  The HTML tags are showing up in the activity feed due to folks initially copying/pasting from Word (or other program) and using the “Text” tab to put it into their replies. The Text tab interprets the entered text differently than the Visual tab does.   If a member wants to copy/paste anything that has HTML or links in it, it is best to ensure they are on the “Visual” tab when they paste it.  If raw HTML tags show up in discussions, we normally go into that discussion/reply, choose the Visual tab, copy that text, select the “Text” tab, and paste it.  This will then cause the HTML tags to be interpreted as HTML instead of as text (if that makes sense).   The problem with the activity feed is that it displays a static snapshot of the text entered ONLY when the original post is saved, therefore, even if we go back and correct the original discussion, the static activity feed entry is not updated by the system.  The only way to update the activity feed display is to manually go into that particular activity event and update the text there as well.  Sigh…another issue we are trying to resolve.
