<p style=”text-align: left;”>As a cyber officer, I can say we are disconnected from the rest of the Army and even other cyber elements.  Geography, classification rules, and mission sets all contribute to this.</p>
<p style=”text-align: left;”>My best recommendation on bridging the gap for you would be to learn doctrinal terms and symbology (ADRP 1-02).  While we tend to use civilian security terms internally, we have to be able to have clear, doctrinal discussions with maneuver elements (commanders and staffs). A major part of those discussions is learning to translate between technical cyber language and Army doctrinal language without overselling capabilities or misrepresenting effects.</p>
