The one thing I have been concerned about as I come up on my first DITY move, is that I am doing my move slightly different. Currently I am on TDY and following my temporary duty here, I am PCS straight down to Fort Benning, which is only 6 hours away from me currently. My wife however, is traveling from my home of record, which is across the country on the same day that I leave for Benning. I will be arriving their prior to her, but what I am concerned about is if she will still receive some sort of per diem or mileage reimbursement for driving in the U-Haul across the country alone, with my stuff?

Would appreciate any insight you would have on this!
