FT Benning – IBOLC

Housing – Abrams Hall which is operated by IHG. There are study rooms, daily breakfast and computer laps/printers available. The facility is roughly 2 years old and very well maintained. Tip: Sign up for IHG’s loyalty program in advanced so that you can accumulate status and points for your 6 month+ stay. At the end you will be able to cash in points for a vacation.

Transportation – Bring your POV or ask for a rental. CA NG initially did not allow us to citing a shuttle service in Ft Benning. You will be expected to transport yourself between classes and Abrams hall is 2 miles away from PT and IBOLC.

Prep – IBOLC has a fitness plan and self study materials on their website. It is constantly updated to reflect their current coursework. http://www.benning.army.mil/infantry/199th/ibolc/ – I advise reading two books from the required reading list in advanced, I used audiobooks on my drive from California and knocked out the readings well in advanced.
