One leadership example I’ve always found inspirational is MAJ Dick Winters. Naturally there is some dramatization if you simply compare/contrast his leadership style with others in Band of Brothers but, if you take a look at Beyond Band of Brothers: The War Memoirs of Major Dick Winters or Conversations with Major Dick Winters: Life Lessons from the Commander of the Band of Brothers you can get an idea of the traits and habits that MAJ Winters displayed that made him such an effective and inspirational leader.
