There have been a lot of good tangible things to buy or provide mentioned in the previous post…but telling them thank you and ensuring they understand how their success is tied to the larger organizations mission accomplishment goes a long way.

Tell them Thank you….Tell them sincerely and in person, individually and as groups you appreciate their hard work and service. You have to understand the culture of the organization and what rewards will make a difference.

Another way is to ensure you sacrifice with them…you go to the motoropool and turn the wrench, you pull a shift on the tower for them, you sit CQ/Staff Duty with them for a shift….. Lead from the Front each and every day and never forget how blessed and special the experience of leading Americas Finest…don’t take it for granted!
