Hi,
I am Scott Nusom (YG 07) and I currently work in the Combined Arms Center at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. I am excited to participate in the Junior Leader Forum and connect with other leaders across the force!
My command experience includes troop command in a cavalry squadron and an HHC command in a brigade engineer battalion. I have also served as a staff officer, military advisor, company-level executive officer, and platoon leader. I have deployed twice to Iraq (2005-06 and 2009-10) and once to Afghanistan (2013).
I enjoy discussing all topics about leadership and command but I am most passionate about leader development, building effective teams, developing systems, and training. This forum provides a tremendous opportunity for junior leaders to grow personally and professionally while giving back to our profession.
