S2: Response.

It would appear from the initial establishment of air dominance that the United States had all the intelligence assets they needed to provide troops on the ground with the knowledge of the armor threat that they were facing.  It is easy to draw the comparison between the refusal to equip troops with new equipment and our lack of CBRNE equipment, however the more important difference to examine back then was the United States refusal to consider the possibilities of limited war.  The attitude pervasive throughout the military at the time also proved to be critically damaging to most aspects of the American Military during the early part of the war and that problem clearly could have contributed to the lack of proper equipment procurement.
