FSC: Discuss the three advantages the CCF possessed over UN Forces. What can we learn from them?

The CCF had three distinct advantages over the UN Forces. The first advantage was that they were easily able to maneuver the familiar terrain, and they did so as a fluid unit with little regard to recognized battle lines. Secondly, their troops were able to travel great distances with little sustenance. Finally, they had the element of surprise, for the UN did not conceive that they would intervene in the conflict, knowing who they were up against. From these advantages we could learn a few things. First, our troops can continue to train in multiple climates and landscapes, so they can navigate and acclimate easily to new regions, terrains, and altitudes. Strict nutrition and exercise training can make units stronger and improve stamina. The last advantage is less likely to translate to American troops. It is unlikely on a large scale that we can offer the element of surprise, as the world is constantly watching our next move.
