My two cents for you or the next person who has pay issues like this: Keep an eye on your LES and, if its not fixed by the time you get to your new unit, tell post when you in-process and tell your BN S1 (file pay inquiry). They can actually sit in the finance office and get details on where the pay is in the process and why the timing may be off (there’s cutoffs for when the daily transactions get pushed to the mid- and end- of month LES, there may be sequencing of on and off switches required, etc.). As you’ve probably experienced from your enlisted time, a lot of Post finance offices severely restrict non-S1 personnel from getting front desk service. Ride the in-processing time at your new duty station and use the open door policy you should get from them (if needed). Squeaky wheel gets the grease.
