“Military leaders must weigh the effects of their decisions carefully because usually there is no turning back.”  With great power comes great responsibility!  I do agree with this, when it comes to someone’s life there is go restart button after game over. It can be any decisions an officer can make that can effect someone’s physical life to even their career. You can’t make rash decisions without analyzing the possible outcomes. The training we receive now allows us to be in a position to make mistakes to learn from, to be able to know how to react when they are real life scenarios. Learning what you can now so that later on you are focusing on their outcomes and not the actual decisions you can make. You have to be able to make the decisions with confidence because you have to take full responsibility for calling out those orders. I have always had more respect for someone who made the wrong call and admitted to it, took full responsibility and fixed it, than someone who denied ever giving the order and blaming others.
