I agree. There is MORE that goes into it, however we have an issue within the Reserve Compo, and that issue is the simple lack of time. I have seen instances when a SPC learned something at a course, and because there was no time to train others, that SPC is now an SSG and STILL only one of a handful who can do what he does. I know within my company, we’re constantly battling for time to cross train on the things that everyone should, opposed to the things people know for their MOS.
