1. Socialize that expectation with your NCOs as soon as you can.

2. Show them the training calendar, progression and end-state: where do we want to be, and how everything before end-state fits into – builds on the training.

3. Show them ATN or CATS, how to access T&EOs and the Company METL – prioritize what you want to get after, what you won’t accomplish/do/prioritize, and how your company training plan fits into the BN and BDE’s annual training guidance.

4. set goals and gates by each quarter. ask your PLs to back-brief progress and their plan to meet your guidance and intent.

5. follow 8-step training model, which requires train and certify leaders step, that includes back-briefs on each training event. those briefs should feature T&EOs, the Soldier Manual for Common Tasks references, and proper MET (individual & supporting task).
