While I’ve certainly learned a lot from my commissioning source, there are always areas for improvement.

As for my school, we were not located near any major military installation, which made concurrent training with actual Army units difficult. Think there is a large benefit that can be gained from hands on experience from SME’s currently executing there jobs.

Cadre are certainly a valuable resource in this regards, but traveling to or brining in different areas of expertise would have been beneficial.
