EP006: Making the Most of Your Staff Assignments

Today we are discussing a topic that frankly doesn’t get discussed enough in our commissioning sources and basic branch courses. Rightfully so, most of the education and training cadets and BOLC students receive is geared towards preparing them for platoon leader assignments.

In reality, most of us will spend at least half of our time in staff positions as junior officers.  In today’s episode we interview two officers who offer sound advice for excelling in your staff assignments and using them as preparation for key developmental positions.
