Welcome back to the Leaders Huddle Podcast. This week we dive back into Part 2 of our interview with COL(R) Nate Allen and COL(R) Tony Burgess, authors of “Taking the Guidon.” This is Part 2 of the interview. If you haven’t listened to Part 1, it is available for download from our archives. In this episode we take a look at the future of “Taking the Guidon” and ask the authors to share what they have learned since publishing the book 15 years ago. Tony and Nate share their personal experiences from those that have shaped their leadership, their time in command, and developing leaders in their organizations. We’ll also look at what the environment of leading in combat looks like, and themes they’ve uncovered from talking to those who have experienced it.
