Good afternoon everyone,

I had a couple quick questions regarding introductory emails or letters from an incoming LT to their Company Commander.  Should the email portion just be a quick introduction with an attached letter?  Should the letter attachment be in memo format?  And finally what should be included in said letter.  For a little background, I’m going to be an Infantry Officer in the National Guard and this will be my first contact with the CO.
