Great question and way to think ahead!

First every MEDO has to answer the 10 questions.  How does your plan ensure that you can accomplish the 10 functional areas?  Running a BAS means knowing where to evacuate and when to evacuate.

Next the combat arm guys will (rightfully so) your plan to nest into their larger maneuver plans.  How are you going to flex your BAS into MAS/FAS.  How are you going to rapidly evacuate casualties in order to jump your BAS.  Know where the role 2 is and its status.  Is it up or is it jumping, if its jumping who is taking up that slack.

MASCAL, MASCAL, MASCAL.  How will you trigger, when will you trigger and how are you doing it.  How do you integrate the Chaplin and S1/S4 and additional CLS.

How are you resupplying your Combat Medic Section and augmenting them when someone is inevitably KIA.

CCP/AXP manage them.
