I think you’re on the right track pursuing experience in operations. My suggestion is take charge in heading up some knowledge management projects (refresh some SOPs/Policies, organize current data, start a page on IntelLink/HSIN, refine the TACSOP), knowing everything and anything about operations, and doing everything you can to stay active during your pregnancy and having a speedy recovery to get you back in the game as soon as possible. Your peers and leadership will notice. Best of Luck!
