I recently received my BOLC date and even with the two months of leave I will still have a month and a half of snowbirding. People always talk about snowbirding as something to be avoided but what does it entail? And if it is something I want to avoid, what else can I do besides it?

I am a cadet soon to be heading to Cyber BOLC this July. I’m curious to know how other Army branches perceive Cyber and whether some folks feel that Cyber soldiers are disconnected to the rest Army. If you feel there is a disconnect, how can Cyber Branch soldiers help fix this problem?
