Chapter 4 really struck a positive chord with me this week. I was motivated by the idea of being truly curious. I was challenged by the idea of thinking through if I have been asking question to make sure that I know or that THEY know. As I looked back over the last 14 years I more often than not have been focusing if THEY know. I do not think this is a bad thing but I do think the more I can con focus on what I know the better I can lead soldiers. IN a recent PCS I find myself in a company with equipment and mission that is different from anything I have been around. I have a general knowledge base but only from the school house not actual application. After reading this particular chapter I realized that as I continue to grow within the organization I want to develop a culture of asking questions so WE know. Mutually growing from questions that both I ask and they ask!
