Welcome to your community! As you get established here, there are three things you can do right away that will make this a more vibrant and energizing space:

1. Post a profile picture. Similar to FaceBook, Twitter, and milSuite, you can post both a profile picture and a cover picture. Just go to the “Welcome” in the top right-hand corner and click on “Edit my Profile” In the long gray bar, select “Change Profile Photo” and upload one. It can be serious or funny, on duty or off duty. Think about how you want others to see you in this space.

2. Update your status. Just go to the right-hand column; under “what are you doing/learning today”, post what you’re doing as a professional right now. It can be an FTX you’re preparing for, a book you’re reading, or a person you’re engaging with. As you keep updating your status, your old statuses will show in your activity tab, creating your own professional journal.

3. “Like” or “PIE” a piece of content. PIE stands for Positive, Inspired, and Energizing; if a piece of content in the forums made you feel that way, click the PIE button and the contributor will get a notification. What a great way to reinforce meaningful contributions to the forums!
