S2 Question

The US didn’t know or understand the armor threat in North Korea because at the time the US did not believe NK was a legitimate threat even with the numerous threats and periodic uprisings. While the US did poses the weapon systems to combat the armor they did not field the weapon systems. Instead decided to send Task Force smith on a policing mission not realizing the scope of the situation on the ground. I personally do not believe we are repeating the same mistake in regards to the CBRN threat. We are more than aware of the capabilities of chemical warfare or any weapon of mass destruction which is why our national stance is to prevent the attainment of such weapons by rogue nations.
