Those area both great resources. (I like the essence of timing Brock.) I had a gut feeling one was going to be coming my way and it hit the inbox today for a Commander’s Inquiry. I plan on using the resources that you provided and keeping JAG closely tied in.

I think that the major thing (and being Commander’s or having been through it) is also you may not be fully prepared for being an IO. However, like all things army, this is one of the few major visibility tasks you may have with you commander. You want to be open to learning, finding, and using, resources, but also not bugging your CO/XO and other’s making it seem like they are doing it for you.

These tools and tips are excellent resources to supplement the ones being provided to me from my unit.
