Hello all,
I’ve been recently tagged as the OIC of the BN Ball and I’ve never been to an official Army Ball yet. Does anyone have some planning tools or examples of Military Ball planning? Thanks.

Just received my first assignment. I’m looking for a good Troop to Task List that I can use to keep accountability of my Soldiers and they’re activities outside of day-to-day work. Can anyone help me or provide a good example of what you have used in the past/presently?
Thanks,
Paul.

Here’s a Brigade Support Battalion’s/CSSB format for CONOP’s. You can always play around with the design, but it’s best to not do any major reconstruction unless absolutely necessary. Be clear and concise about your mission/training event. There should few-to-no questions after someone reads the CONOP. You’ll get better at making them and it…[Read more]

Attitude!
It means everything. You need to walk in with a positive, open-to-learning attitude. You may have rank, but your soldiers have experience. Be humble and know where you stand with your soldiers. They will do what you ask because you’re the PL, but they will respect you when you show humility and a good attitude.

Does anyone have an example DRA for a sling load training operation? Brand new PL and the company has never done this. If you have a CONOP/DRA, that would be great.
