I believed everything depends on the situation. The time that we have and how much pressure are we receiving to make a decision can affect our thinking process greatly. I always find efficient to think things through before making big decisions or implementing changes (if I have the time). Throughout the years I have learned to think “quickly” or at least try to not go around in circles thinking too much if is not necessary. Sometimes we get so fixated to find the correct way to do something, while there is no correct way and the only important thing is to take action and stop thinking. However, I have found myself appreciating the spare time I had to make a decision when that decision can affect members of my organization. Thinking prior to act helps me to identify what is the real issue or what is the best solution.
