#WWAJOD? – What would a Junior officer do if this was their HHD 1SG?

Scenario:

Staff duty roster has come out and you need to make a change; you know that the approval authority is the BDE XO.

You come to the 1SG to:

1. Let the 1SG know there is a discrepancy on the Duty Roster.

2. Ask for some guidance on duty change.

3. Provide a solution for the change and the discrepancy.

You are told – with a nasty attitude and nasty facial expressions, in front of 2 senior NCO’s, 1 Junior NCO and 1 PV2 – “you all come here trying to make changes, ma’am/sir, I take care of my NCOs you need to talk to the BDE XO, she’s the approval authority”…

Mind you, you have yet to explain to 1SG why you are in front of their office, 1SG has no idea what you were going to say.
