Were discussing how to make an efficient and effective interview protocol to use to collect information on reading habits, preferences and skills. Our study is focusing on reading traditional print vs more modern digital reading (kindle, iBook, etc). We have a pretty experienced professor that is very comfortable with interviews, but any “first-timer” advice would be welcomed. What qualitative research interviews have you done?

Great advice, thank you. We are doing a pilot interview now with our initial protocol. I’m sure we’ll tweak next class.
Does USMA use SPSS software that you are aware of?
Also, have you done any “action research?” I think this is something primarily found in the education field.
