Sounds like you did this officer right. We have had that issue in my BDE for awhile now with young LT’s not getting the leadership or mentorship they needed to succeed. Most of them did decent after moving it was just a leadership in the maneuver unit that failed them. We as an Army don’t do well with putting things on paper and having a trail. As long as the paper trail is there then you can’t go wrong.
