It will come from BN. In the 2.5 years I was with my BSB we had three different ways of setting up the BSA. One was a square, the next was a circle and the last one they were going to implement when I left was a triangle. They all had triple strand Cwire and gun pits along with either one main ECP or a secondary for vehicles to leave from. Gun trucks and pits were at either corners or at the clock face 12-3-6-9 with ECP at 6. We also had a H-hour sequence that we needed to have everything completed by so by H hour or when the last convoy came in 6 hours after that we needed all three strands of c-wire up and gun trucks emplaced. H plus 12 was all defenses completed and gun pits dug.

I need to find my discs from my old unit and dig some of my stuff up. If you are on Bn level staff then you need to get the guidance from BC and CSM on what they envision. If you are at the company you need to support whatever they have from above.

If you are an FSC… depends on your Concept of support and what you may encounter from the BSB or your supported unit and how they employ you. Will you be at the BSA or a CTCP?  There’s a lot to it. Message if you need more.
