glazerthekid started the topic How to avoid snowbird (or should I?) in the forum Junior Officer 7 years, 2 months ago
Hello,
I recently received my BOLC date and even with the two months of leave I will still have a month and a half of snowbirding. People always talk about snowbirding as something to be avoided but what does it entail? And if it is something I want to avoid, what else can I do besides it?
Thank you

I think that I may for Signal if that remains my first choice, but I feel like I won’t know until I am looking at the branch preferences for the last time @jayleene27

Pat,
Here’s a good discussion that @perkinsjm posted a while ago about implementing combat-based PT into our unit physical training plans.
In a combat focused branch or unit it seems as though this would be most useful in terms of making PT plans.

I’m currently a cadet at West Point, and one thing I notice happen repeatedly is that whenever someone in a leadership position (cadet or TAC team) implements a change in our regular routine a significant portion of those affected complain about how the change is unnecessary or harmful. Obviously not every single change is harmful and most are…[Read more]

Attended Branch briefing today. I got some good information about how BRADSO and branch selection works.
-
I felt as if it was one of the better briefs we have been to. @jayleene27 , what do you think about it?
-
I like how realistic the speaker was, but it’s the same branch brief we get every year
-
-
Are you going to BRADSO?
