I recently received my BOLC date and even with the two months of leave I will still have a month and a half of snowbirding. People always talk about snowbirding as something to be avoided but what does it entail? And if it is something I want to avoid, what else can I do besides it?

I was wondering if anybody had any tips on finding a leadership style. How would I go about finding something a leadership style that is effective, and works with my personal strengths and weaknesses?
