Sam.
Thanks for posting this and sharing on campus. I’m really enjoying the podcast and looking forward to the continued discussion.
As a post command CPT I really found the conversation about ‘not taking criticism personally’ interesting. I’ve sat across the desk and used that phrase more than once in a counseling session. It’s easy to f…[Read more]

Colton.
Good observations. What did you think about the timing of LT McDonough’s decisions during Viet Cong attack? Was the pace of his decisions appropriate?
How might you tie back his timing and the enemy’s use of the characteristics of the offense? Particular tempo?

Where do you think a Lieutenant gets his “right” or authority to give orders and make decisions? Does longevity in a situation give someone authority another?
Asking appropriate questions is important and an understanding of your situation is essential in a situation like LT McDonough is in. Your Soldiers will have an expectation you have basic…[Read more]

Ray.
I gave it another try and was unable to get it to work. I used that button the first time and then when I tried again it actually won’t let me post at all since the system views it as a duplicate post.
Edit: It is working here however, which is interesting. I’ll log out and give it another try in R2L

I am utilizing the Read2Lead program. Is there a way to have replies nest under the message I’m responding to like they do in this thread?
For example: https://juniorofficer.army.mil/discussion/chapter-5-8/#post-3250 was posted in response to Post #3230, but appears at the end of the reply chain for the original message.
Thanks!
