Listening to TED Radio Hour “Screen Time” Part 1. Can we safely integrate force-on-force and live fire training with virtual reality? Imagine shooting live rounds at an avatar controlled by a real-time, decision making “enemy” controlled remotely.

I posted Schofield Barracks, HI out of West Point and I have no regrets. I was one of those cadets who married soon after graduation so it was something that I decided with my wife as a team. Great. Another easy win is recognizing family members for their efforts and celebrating good stuff together. I recommend publicly recognize your volunteers, newcomers and significant family events (marriages, newborns) at FRG events/meetings. In my companies, we ordered small gifts with the company logo for recognizing family members.…[Read more]

Another piece of FRG advice I wish I had before taking command was becoming familiar with virtual FRG (“vFRG”) found at http://www.ArmyFRG.org.
