Leaders!
The deadlines for two of our signature programs are approaching. If you’d like to give a great gift to a hard-working junior officer, consider nominating him/her for the CJO 30 Under 30 Leader Developer Award! If you’d like to join the team as a non-resident Leadership Fellow, you can learn about how to apply here.

Other posts of interest
While we run/focus on the Center for Junior Officers site, we know there is a lot of other great content out there that can help junior officers in their pursuits. Are you a fan of the Apple TV series Ted Lasso? A lot of folks have been writing about the leadership lessons from the show. While we don’t think a fictional TV character is necessarily “proof” of effective leadership, we found these articles and podcasts to be thought generating and submit they may be worth your time.
- Ted Lasso is reinventing leadership and proving that nice leaders can (and should) finish first
- Is Ted Lasso a great leader?
- How Ted Lasso explains leadership (podcast)
- 5 times Ted Lasso reminded us what great leadership looks like
